ETHLend started back in 2017-yes, 2017, when we thought blockchain was a magic fix for everything. Then it rebranded to Aave in 2018, which sounds like an expensive cocktail, but it was actually a pivot to a pooled liquidity DeFi protocol. Basically, they threw everything into the liquidity blender and hoped for the best. Facepalm

The new ETHLend is supposedly trying to combine old-school peer-to-peer lending with all these shiny modern DeFi upgrades. Better efficiency, more liquidity-sounds awesome if you’re into jargon, or just want to stay confused and hopeful. Confused
